One of A Plague Tale: Requiem’s more tender parts comes from Amicia gathering Flowers for Hugo’s Collection. A small gesture that speaks volumes about her role as a dotting sister. After picking up a flower, Amicia will wear it on her ear until she’s unearths the next, marking a stark contrast to her bloodied wounds and increasingly lethal arsenal of weapons and alchemical tools.

There are five flowers in total to collect, most of which are scattered throughout the game’s first five chapters. You can check your progress by accessing the skill menu, then tabbing through to the codex section. Here you’ll find a list of all the flowers you’ve collected and those you’ve yet to find.

This one is unmissable and serves as an introduction to collecting flowers for Hugo’s Collection throughout the game. The Arrowhead is available shortly after the beginning of the Gladiators portion of Chapter 2 – Newcomers. Continue forward until you come to a vegetable patch. Lucas will call Amicia over to a flower sprouting from the ground close to a shovel, bucket, and burlap sack.

Available during the At the Edge of the City portion of Chapter 3 – A Burden of Blood. Continue forward until you reach the herbalist’s hut, look left and head towards the large tree dominating the clearing next to the house. Look up and hoot down the left-hand hanging basket. Interact with it on the ground to pick up the Chamomile flower.

Exit the tunnel at the start of the Night Work portion of Chapter 4 – Protector’s Duty, and head immediately right along the dock. Continue forward past the jetty to find the flower straight ahead. Interact with it to pick up the Gentian flower.

Found in the Bridge Under Construction portion of Chapter 5 – In our Wake. Cross the water and destroy the ferry chain. Continue along the coast until you reach the bridge. Head left to find a ledge.

Push the cart round to the ledge, but before jumping up look up and shoot the latch to release a small wooden bridge above. Head all the way up to find the Anemone flower on the cliff’s edge.

A Plague Tale: Requiem – Hugo’s Collection 5/5 Carnation Flower

This one is unmissable and is found during Chapter 16 – King Hugo. Shortly after the start of the chapter, Lucas will point out a flower, miraculously still alive amid the chaos. Walk up and interact with the prompt to pick up the Carnation flower.
