The biggest strength for Microsoft is definitely their Xbox Game Pass subscription service. There are a bunch of massive hitters set to join before the end of 2024 including Black Ops 6 and Indiana Jones. But, before these arrivals, a leaker claims Xbox Game Pass September 2024 will see the addition of 17 day-one releases. This isn’t official as of yet, but five games are already confirmed to be joining.
If you are a Microsoft subscriber, you will be able to play the Black Ops 6 early access beta that starts on August 30th. This early access portion runs from August 30th to September 4th, and then the beta will open to everyone from September 6th until the 9th. Microsoft has confirmed Black Ops 6 will join Game Pass on day one of its full release, and this is currently planned for October 25th.
The Black Ops 6 beta and eventual release of the full game are undoubtedly the biggest attractions for Xbox Game Pass. However, according to a leaker, the subscription service is also set to receive 17 day-one releases in September 2024.

The games confirmed for Xbox Game Pass September 2024 so far are as follows:
- Star Trucker – Sep 3rd
- Age of Mythology Retold – Sep 4th
- Train Sim World 5 – Sep 17th
- Frostpunk 2 – Sep 20th
- Ara History Untold – Sep 24th

Microsoft hasn’t revealed the full lineup for September as of writing. However, if a leaker is to be believed, we could be in for one of the subscription service’s busiest ever months.
According to often reliable Spanish leaker eXtas1s (via Gamerant), Microsoft will add 19 new titles to their subscription service during September 2024, with 17 of the games day-one releases.
This hasn’t been confirmed by Microsoft as of writing as they are yet to reveal the full lineup for next month. Beyond September, below are more day-one releases confirmed to be joining Game Pass before the end of 2024:
- Black Ops 6 – October 25th
- Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 – November 19th
- S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 – November 20th
- Indiana Jones and The Great Circle – December 9th
