The Call of Duty Black Ops 6 beta is right around the corner. Players eager to jump into the game’s new movement systems, returning weapons, perks, and other gubbins won’t have long to wait. However, they’ll need to know how to get a Call of Duty Black Ops 6 beta code first.

The Call of Duty Black Ops 6 beta runs from August 30, 2024. This allows you to test the game prior to release. Here’s everything you need to know about getting a Black Ops 6 beta key.

How to get a Black Ops 6 Beta key

In order to access the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 beta, you will need to have a key. To find out how to get a Call of Duty Black Ops 6 beta code, follow these steps:

  • Pre-order Black Ops 6 on your platform of choice. £69.99 /$69.99 for the base edition or £99.99 / $99.99 for the Ultimate Edition.
  • Subscribe to either Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass PC, Game Pass Console or Core
  • Input your beta code into the Call of Duty website

Like most Call of Duty beta events, there will be early access and an open beta date. You can find the dates as follows:

  • Early Access beta: August 30- September 4 starting and ending 10 AM PT
  • Open beta: September 6- September 9 starting and ending 10 AM PT

Note that pre-ordering digitally or having access to the relevant Game Pass subscription will automatically qualify your account for beta access, according to the CoD FAQ. You will not need a beta key code to get access.

Where is my beta code?

If you choose to pre-order a physical edition of Black Ops 6, you can still get the beta. Check your receipt of your order or email updates for your product. Retailers will send physical beta codes closer to the beta launch time.  You should then get a beta key in your email or receipt, depending on how and when you purchased it. Input the beta code you received on the Call of Duty beta redemption site. You will need an Activision account to redeem the code successfully.

There were also promotions for the Black Ops 6 beta in the CDL championship as rewards for watching. Those are gone now, but there might be more promotions to give players who can’t pre-order yet more of a chance.

If there are other methods of getting into the Call of Duty Black Ops 6 early access beta, we will update the page.
