Warzone 2 DMZ has consistently been one of the most played game modes within MW2 and it could become even more popular with the alleged arrival of a nighttime offering. According to ModernWarzone, a reliable CoD news aggregator, Infinity Ward and Raven Software have revealed that a non-day time version of DMZ is currently in the works and it may be introduced soon.
Although several new features have been introduced to MW2 Season 3, the problems found within, like the severe stuttering issues and the strict SBMM system, have largely overshadowed the positive changes. However, the addition of a new map or mode to DMZ may change the opinions of many within the frustrated community.
This latest development for MW2’s extraction match type was apparently gathered from a recent “dev call” wherein it was also clarified that it would not be a limited-time mode (LTM). Unfortunately, it’s still currently unclear where the location of the nighttime map or mode would take place since Infinity Ward and Raven Software are yet to provide specific details on the alleged upcoming inclusion.
Nevertheless, Warzone 2 DMZ fans are celebrating this new way of experiencing the game since it had slightly become stale and repetitive after having stayed mostly the same since launch. Some players commenting under ModernWarzone’s post are particularly happy that the reported nighttime offering is being integrated permanently as it will allow people to choose freely. A few users, on the other hand, are asking for the addition of roaming zombies throughout the map to make it even more exciting.
Whatever the new nighttime offering ends up being, it’s safe to say that the community is excited for its arrival into the game.
