MW2 Season 3 is off to a less-than-ideal start as a large number of players are reportedly suffering through severe lag and stuttering issues in the game. These consistent network problems essentially make playing through matches virtually impossible since you won’t be able to see where you’re going in real time.

The third season in Activision’s latest CoD installment has already been plagued with several prevalent problem even though it only recently began. Aside from the insignificant changes made in Season 3, numerous users have also had problems with their MW2 battle pass not working. Both of these flaws combined with the aforementioned network problems has inevitably made fans frustrated at the developers’ current efforts.

Due to the lack of communication from Infinity Ward and Raven Software, players have now taken to Reddit instead in order to vent out their frustrations on the current state of the game. One user has even created a post already, asking other gamers if they’ve also experienced “massive stutters/jumps since Season 3.”

The thread’s author would go on to explain their problem by saying that they “can’t play a single game without repeated stutters or what appears to be choppy frames.” They would also mention that they “have decent internet,” but that they can’t tell if this is what’s causing the issue “since the network latency widget is currently broken in-game.”

Based on comments from other disappointed users, however, it doesn’t seem like the post creator’s internet is the problem as many are also suffering the same issues. It also apparently isn’t limited to one particular platform as several different people have reported encountering this bug on Xbox, PC, and PlayStation.

It’s currently unclear what the developers plan on doing about these difficulties since they are yet to respond to the complaints of the community. If they don’t do something about it soon, though, this may just be the final nail in the coffin for the divisive CoD entry.
