A few MW2 players are reportedly receiving surveys from Activision asking for their opinion on several in-game movement mechanics. Some of the specific features that users are allegedly being asked about in these questionnaires include mantling, climbing, sprint to fire, dolphin dive, and many others.

However, it seems as if a large portion of the community is yet to receive this type of survey as many are current wondering who the developers are actually sending it to. Because of this, some fans are speculating that these forms are being sent to people that don’t use any of these techniques in order to get a response that won’t require any sort of reaction.

But even if the fan base were to get a favorable tally for this questionnaire, a handful of cynical players believe that Infinity Ward and Raven Software still wouldn’t do anything to fix the issue. Sadly, this sentiment may indeed be true based on the developers’ tendency to hold off on addressing even the most pressing of problems.

Some Reddit users, on the other hand, are saying that this survey is being sent to gamers due to the threat of XDefiant looming large. Since the Ubisoft-developed FPS titles was released in its closed beta period, those lucky enough to have played it have frequently praised the shoot ’em up entry – with some even going so far as to call it the CoD killer.

But with the game still currently in its pre-release phase, it still remains a highly unpolished project that still needs a few tweaks in order to compete with Activision’s ever-popular series. However, these early reactions from different users indicate that XDefiant is slowly heading in the right direction.

With that said, only time will tell if these MW2 surveys will bear fruit for the game’s frustrated community. But with hardcore community members being left out of the loop, this may just end up being another shady tactic by the developers to make it look like they’re planning on improving the game.

While you wait for Infinity Ward and Raven Software to make actual enhancements, we recommend reading up on our best Cronen Squall loadout and best FJX Imperium loadout so you can use them to take out your frustration on other players in the game.
