Valorant recently entered Episode 8 Act 2 earlier this month, with the 8.04 patch bringing plenty of fixes and changes. Despite the new season being a couple of weeks behind us now, Riot Games is continuing to bring fresh new content to the game, with a new highly anticipated agent set to join the game in the next few days.

Prominent Valorant leaker, ValorLeaks, has posted the official promotional artwork for the next controller called Clove. So far, all of the leaks have surrounded the character’s background information, including abilities, but this marks the first time that we have seen an image of Clove. Credible leaks have confirmed that Clove will be the first non-binary character in Valorant, marking a huge step forward in inclusivity in Riot Games’ competitive shooter. Along with the addition of Clove, a new map called Bastion is also coming to Valorant soon.

As of writing, Riot Games hasn’t made an official announcement regarding Clove, but the character is expected to be revealed during the VCT Masters Madrid tournament, with the event concluding on March 24 as eight teams compete for their share of a $500,000 prize pool. It is believed that once Riot Games officially reveals Clove on March 24, the agent will become available in-game on March 26.

Clove will be the sixth controller to come to Valorant and the 25th agent. Although not officially announced yet, we do know that their abilities will be named ‘Meddle,’ ‘Pick Me Up,’ and ‘Ruse,’ they will also have the ability to self-revive, which has left players feeling conflicted as it could become an incredibly overpowered ability.
