Often the first setting you look at and change in an FPS game is the crosshair. Everyone has their preference – some have used one style for years, others copy from esports pros, and so on. Valorant offers many options to fully customize your crosshair, letting you decide almost every aspect. In fact, players have been creative with some of their designs, giving rise to many funny versions. To begin down the path of setting everything up, you should first be familiar with how to change your crosshair and its basic functions.

How to set up Valorant crosshair

To change your crosshair in Valorant, launch the game and head to the home page. Next, click the Gear icon on the top right of the screen and choose the Settings option. Finally, simply select the Crosshair tab found on the upper portion of the screen and you’ll be able to start customizing it.

You will then be able to customize three different types of crosshairs, which consist of:

  • Primary
  • Aim Down Sights
  • Sniper Scope

The Primary crosshair is what typically shows up on your screen when you’re not aiming your weapon. Next, the Aim Down Sights crosshair appears when you hold down the right mouse button while aiming your gun. Last but not least, the Sniper Scope crosshair is only displayed whenever you use a sniper rifle such as the Marshal, the Outlaw, or the Operator.

If you want to create multiple crosshairs that you can try out and swap, you can do so by creating and saving different crosshair profiles. Additionally, the Aim Down Sights category also enables you to copy your primary crosshair instead if you prefer not to customize it and keep the same one for both aiming styles.
