Valorant is among the top competitive shooters available today, often likened to CS: GO with abilities. Riot’s free-to-play game sees hundreds of thousands of players jump in every day to compete across various modes including a ranked mode where players can improve to compete and become a top player in their region. Along with abilities and agents, Valorant sees a regular release of new maps across various modes to keep things fresh, and a new map could be coming very soon, according to a leak by Reddit user u/Impossible_Ad1362.
Currently, there are 15 different maps in Valorant, with each being laid out differently and only available in certain modes. To experience all of the maps in the game you will need to play both Standard and Team Deathmatch modes.
A new leak has suggested that an unreleased Valorant map is in the files of the games, meaning that I could be added to the game very soon. The new Valorant map is going to be called Bastion. So far, there isn’t much information regarding the map except a thumbnail. Bastion has some visual similarities to other maps such as Bind and Split which could give players a look at what to expect from the new map when it is released.
As there hasn’t been an official announcement made by Riot Games, there is no release date for Bastion, but a new Agent called Clove is due to be released soon, which means that it will likely be a while yet before Riot Games adds the new map. The last time a new Team Deathmatch map was added was in December 2023.
Valorant is a great alternative to games such as CS: GO with a unique twist by adding abilities. It can be overwhelming to get into the game, but choosing the right equipment can get you off to a good start, and looking at what equipment pro players are using can be a good way to get ahead.
