Vikings: Valhalla Season 2 Story?

No official story synopsis has been revealed for the 2nd season yet, but, it is highly likely given the finale of Season 1, that Season 2 will most likely begin not long, possibly even minutes, after the end of the Season 1 finale as we witness the fallout of the battle for Kattegat.

Are “Vikings: Valhalla” and “Vikings” connected?

Yes, they are. As, although “Vikings” was a History Channel production, and “Vikings: Valhalla” is a Netflix production. “Valhalla” is a sequel series to “Vikings” set 100 years after the “Vikings” finale.

In addition, both shows share the same creative teams behind the camera, and share the same branding (logo design, marketing style, etc), in order to not only establish a visual link between the two shows but to reinforce that they are set in the same universe and continuity.

Furthermore, the events of “Vikings” are explicitly referenced in the opening minutes of the first episode of “Valhalla”. As they serve as the cause of the inciting incident that begins the shows story and conflicts.
