TopSpin 2K25 release date – consoles, editions and trailers

TopSpin 2K25 release date

TopSpin 2K25 is currently scheduled to release on April 26 2024. The game’s release date was first announced on March 12 during the 2024 BNP Paribas Open. In a statement from Rami Ercolani, Gaming Director of Hangar 13, the game is releasing to capitalise on tennis’s peak in popularity.

The game will be releasing across multiple platforms, being available on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and on PC via Steam. With so many games making the move away from last-generation consoles, it’s good to see that PS4 and Xbox One players will be able to try out TopSpin 2K25 for themselves.

TopSpin 2K25 editions

There are four editions of TopSpin 2K25. These are:

• Standard Edition
• Standard Cross-Gen Edition
• Deluxe Edition
• Grand Slam Edition

The Standard Edition will cost $59.99 on previous-gen consoles and $69.99 on PC and current-gen consoles. The Standard Cross-Gen Edition will be $69.99 too, but will include cross-play between current and previous generations of the same console family.

The Deluxe Edition costs $99.99 and is available for all platforms. It will include the Under the Lights, New Wave, and Rookie Rise DLC packs, which provide alternate outfits for multiple players like Carlos Alcaraz and Iga Świątek. It will also allow players to play the game early from April 23 onwards.

Lastly, the Grand Slam Edition will cost $119.99. As well as everything in the Deluxe Edition, it comes with the Grand Slam Champions DLC pack, which provides more cosmetics and access to six future Season Pass updates. 

TopSpin 2K25 trailers

The first trailer for TopSpin 2K25 was released on January 16 2024, during the 2024 Australian Open. It was a fairly short trailer, showing off a little bit of gameplay but not much else.

The second trailer released on March 12 2024. This was much more detailed, showing us several gameplay features such as designing your own player, a training mode with John McEnroe, a career mode in which you aim to win Grand Slams, and a few glimpses of some famous faces.
