The First Descendant devs are reviewing Hailey’s assets after claims they’re the “wrong size”

The First Descendant fans are in for treat with the arrival of Season 2 imminent. A lot has been revealed about the upcoming chapter, and it is set to be huge for the TFD community. Despite sharing almost all the details concerning Season 2, Nexon is still responding to queries from the community. Body diversity is a big request from fans, and, in desiring different proportions to make characters feel more unique, Nexon has responded to complaints from The First Descendant players about Hailey’s assets being the “wrong size”.

The release date for The First Descendant Season 2 is December 5^th. Nexon has shared the roadmap, and they’ve also revealed two new characters that will become playable. Before S2 arrives, make sure to redeem Nexon’s newest code before it’s too late so you can get some massive rewards.

Hailey is one of the most popular characters in TFD, and a large part of it is due to her distinct appearance as her base model has different body proportions to everyone else. This makes her feel and look unique, but it’s unfortunately something that has issues when using different skins.

The First Descendant devs are reviewing Hailey skin issues

On The First Descendant Discord, the game’s producer has been doing an excellent job frequently interacting with and responding to queries from fans. This has been very insightful, and it shows Nexon’s commitment to making TFD as good as humanly possible as they are always listening to the players.

Through Discord, the producer was told “The skins for Viessa need a fix badly. Yes, new premium Hailey skin has wrong breast size”. As for why the issue with Hailey was brought up, the user argued that “Consistency and uniqueness for body proportions is really needed”.

In response, TFD_PD_Lee posted “The Viessa skin has been sent to the art team for confirmation and follow-up work. I’ve also requested a review for the Hailey skin”.

The above response is good from Nexon. Hailey was the first to be given a unique body type, and they are giving the new female in Season 2 different body proportions, too. Unfortunately, while different measurements work with the default appearance, there are challenges in getting it to work with other skins.

In another message from TFD_PD_Lee, the producer explained “Diversifying the body shapes of Descendants is definitely an area we need to continuously work on… [It] continues to be a challenge as more skins are introduced. However, given that interest and demand for body shape adjustments are far higher than I anticipated, we’re committed to continuously improving this area, even if we can’t address everything all at once”.

Diversifying body types is part of Nexon’s plans for big improvements to skins in Season 2, and Nexon are also planning to add “jiggle physics” with appropriate options. All of this should be exciting news for TFD players.
