The First Descendant Season 1 has been excellent. It all kickstarted with the arrival of fan-favorite, Hailey, and the second half of Season 1 wowed the community with the arrival of Ultimate Freyna. Nexon’s second chapter is scheduled to arrive soon, and The First Descendant developer has shared a new Season 2 feature that was “kept secret for a surprise reveal”.
Per the 2024 roadmap, Season 2 is scheduled to arrive in December. Nexon has previously teased exciting plans for Season 2 and beyond, meanwhile, it’s possible the new playable character was leaked alongside Hailey earlier this year.
Not much about Season 2 has been revealed, but Nexon has been answering questions from the community on Discord. This has resulted in some revelations about what The First Descendant fans can expect in regard to customization.
The First Descendant Season 2 is expanding customization
On The First Descendant Discord, TFD_PD_Lee has been answering questions from the community about the game. Some of these questions pertain to Season 2 which is scheduled to arrive in early December.
In response to a query in Korean, the producer revealed “We also plan to enable dye for back attachments in Season 2. We kept it a secret for a surprise reveal, so thank you for asking!”.
Along with dye for back attachments, Season 2 will also introduce the ability to change color/customize Ultimate weapons.
In addition to all of the above, Season 2 will start selling cosmetic items separately: skins, spawns, back attachments, chest attachments etc. This is fantastic news for the community!
As of writing, the producer is still answering questions on Discord, so we’ll be sure to share more important details about Season 2 as it gets closer to releasing.
