Exciting The First Descendant content set to be revealed “this weekend”

Update: The First Descendant Season 2 developer commentary is set for 5AM PT/8AM ET/1PM GMT on November 15th. Nexon has shown two new characters before the official reveal.

The First Descendant fans have a lot to look forward to very soon with the imminent launch of Season 2. Nexon’s first episode has been absolutely amazing with the introduction of Hailey plus the arrival of Ultimate Freyna, and hopes are naturally very high for Season 2. While not a lot has been announced yet, The First Descendant players should prepare for massive news “this weekend”.

Nexon has confirmed that the release date for The First Descendant Season 2 is December 5th. The roadmap reveals all of the new content that will drop without any specifics, meanwhile, the game’s producer has been discussing plans with fans online. A highly-requested feature that made Hailey so beloved but also challenging has been teased, and Nexon has also confirmed a huge upgrade is incoming for an “appealing character”.

While not everything about Season 2 is known as of yet, that is about to change “this weekend” for the TFD community.

On The First Descendant’s official Discord, TFD_PD_Lee has been communicating with fans by answering queries and sharing plans for the future. The developer has vaguely discussed happenings for Season 2, and they have declared that a lot of content is set to be revealed “this weekend”.

The developer has said Nexon will be “sharing details about Season 2 this weekend,” however, they have gone into more specifics as to what exactly will be unearthed.

Per the producer, the Korean developer is planning to pull the curtain aside on the “next Ultimate”. In addition, there will be a “pre-recorded Season 2 broadcast”.

Along with a new Ultimate, the producer shared that “even more awesome skins” for Season 2 will be shown off. This won’t be more swimsuit skins as they are coming in 2025.

While stated for “this weekend,” it isn’t specified whether they mean Saturday or Sunday. Plus, if it’s Saturday, the news could possibly drop on Friday depending on your region because of time differences.

Aside from the release date being December 5th, Nexon has also confirmed a new feature for Season 2 that was previously “kept secret for a surprise reveal”.
