Nexon has delivered a new update for The First Descendant. This patch was announced by the developer shortly after the beginning of Season 1, and it has delivered the promised nerfs to Invasion Dungeons along with so much more. There is a lot to digest from all of the listed improvements, and The First Descendant fans have praised an “amazing change” that is only a small part of the 1.1.1 patch notes.
You can check out The First Descendant update 1.1.1 patch notes to see all of the fixes, buffs, nerfs, and QoL improvements bullet-pointed by Nexon. This patch is highly welcomed, and it will soon be followed up by a massive multiplayer update. In addition to this patch, Nexon has again reminded players that they only have until September 9th to unlock the current batch of rewards available for completing Daily and LTM challenges.
Update 1.1.1 is mostly focused on improving Invasion Dungeons by making them easier and more seamless. However, there are a myriad of other aspects to the update, and fans have especially praised an “amazing change” in regard to farming.
The First Descendant fans praise “amazing change” in update 1.1.1
The First Descendant fans have been reacting to the update 1.1.1 patch notes on the game’s official subreddit. Most of the replies are full of love for the listed buffs, nerfs, improvements and fixes, although there is some slight division over how much the difficulty of Invasion Dungeons has been nerfed.
However, away from just fan reception, the community has noticed a fix/change not mentioned at all. Reddit user iLikeCryo commented, “This was not mentioned in the patch notes as far as I could see but Trendsetter Bunny head skin (mask with buns) shows up again as an equippable skin for Ultimate Bunny for those who had claimed it in the past”.
A user replied to the return of the Trendsetter Bunny head skin by saying, “THANK YOU! I thought I lost my buns Bunny headgear after I dismissed regular Bunny”.
Alongside the Trendsetter Bunny Head skin mask returning for Ultimate, TFD players have also noticed an extra improvement to the farming rate for Hailey. Nexon improved the Hailey farming rate in update 1.1.0b, but in the 1.1.1 patch notes the developer has further “adjusted the rewards for clearing Invasion Dungeons, so now 12-20 research materials can be received daily, depending on the trophy earned”.
As explained in the patch notes, and highlighted by Reddit user nguy0313, a gold trophy now “gives you 5, so 4 gold runs is 20 shards. 3 is the base you get for just completing, and 4 is silver”.
This improvement has received a lot of love with one user replying, “This is an amazing change for everyone. After doing hundreds of dungeons at 4 minutes each, I can honestly say that it’s better to just farm the pieces through invasions”. Another user replied, “I got 20 of the same piece today lol, I’m at 50 when I only need 36”.
