As per every week, The Finals has received a new update. It isn’t the biggest patch, and it’s sure to disappoint some players because of the lack of fixes, tweaks, and balance changes. However, the update does come with news, and this includes the ability for The Finals players to unlock 500 Multibucks for free.
The newly released update 3.9.0 patch notes include a fix for a leaderboard bug reported by the community since the launch of the Emerald Rank for World Tour. In addition, a new community event has begun with players able to earn a DISSUN Interrupter helmet. This is a different reward than the Legendary skin previously leaked for another community event in the future.
While the new community event reward is sweet, players can also unlock up to 500 Multibucks for free. This is equivalent to $5, and all you need to do is refer friends to The Finals.
How to unlock 500 Multibucks for free in The Finals
As stated in the update 3.9.0 patch notes, The Finals players can unlock up to 500 Multibucks for free. This is thanks to the newly introduced “refer-a-friend program”.
Per the developer’s instructions, “Head on over to Embark ID to get your unique URL that can be shared with friends who have yet to play The Finals”. Once the referred friend has played 20 rounds of the game, you will both receive 100 Multibucks. It’s possible to earn 500 Multibucks maximum as you can “Get rewarded for up to five friends”.
In addition to the launch of the refer-a-friend initiative, Embark is also selling official merchandise for the game. The merch website will go live at 8:30PM BST today, and you can watch the countdown on the official merch website.
