The Finals Season4 is less than a month away. Fans are eager for the new chapter to begin as Season 3 has been the longest episode since the game’s launch. Details have been kept under wrap, so there’s nothing official announced as of yet. However, there is a lot of speculation online from the community, and fans believe The Finals Season 4 map is “most likely” Rome.
Judging by the in-game countdown, the release date for The Finals Season 4 is September 25th. An Embark developer has teased their “absolute favorite weapon” will be joining the game as part of the new guns and gadgets, and the developer has also leaked facial hair as a new customization option in-development for classes.
In addition, at least four OST tracks have been confirmed, and Embark Rob has teased that this is probably the best season yet. We will get more news, leaks, and clues as we get closer to the release date, but right now some fans believe Rome could be the destination for Embark’s new playground.
The Finals fans believe Season 4 map could be Rome
On The Finals Discord, there is an entire thread dedicated to speculating the location of the Season 4 map. While nothing has been confirmed yet, fans believe we could be moving from Kyoto, Japan, to Rome.
Embark Rob has previously alluded to Rome as a map, as well as responded to speculation that Season 4 could be in the capital of Italy. Rob previously said “rome is awesome (but WE have not been there (yet)),” and he joked, “Oki… S4 it is…” in response to fan concept.
Obviously the second response is a joke rather than anything serious, but the first response has fans believing that “WE” refers to the players and that there will eventually be a map in Rome. This wouldn’t be far-fetched at all as there are maps already in locations such as Morocco.
In addition to the above responses, fans also believe it could be Rome because of previous “Roman stuff within the hunt”. While Rome is believed to be the “most likely candidate at the moment,” there is also speculation that the Season 4 map could be Pompeii in Italy instead.
This speculation includes the belief that the unique feature of the Season 4 map could be the inclusion of lava. Fans believe lava could be an element as Embark recently added lava skins as part of update 3.10.0.
Lastly, away from Rome and Pompeii, fans speculate there is possibly a clue it could be in Mexico or California. Embark has added a motherlode charm to The Finals, and this term stems from old Mexican mining, and also comes from a long-alignment of hard rock gold deposits stretching northwest-southwest in the Sierra Nevada of California.
Of course, all of this is mere speculation as of writing as nothing has been confirmed yet. Before Season 3, fans were able to guess Japan thanks to the CNS sharing an OST. Hopefully the same will happen a couple of weeks before the start of Season 4.
