The Finals dev shares another leak for Season 4

Embark has begun hyping up the arrival of The Finals Season 4. Not a lot of details about the upcoming chapter have been revealed yet, but there are some juicy bits of news coming from the developer. It will arrive in just a few more weeks, and The Finals developer has shared another Season 4 leak to provide more OST goodness for the community.

The release date for The Finals Season 4 is officially September 26th. This was part of Embark’s huge announcement where they also confirmed Cashout is returning to Ranked. While we still have to wait a few more weeks for S4 to begin, the update 3.12.0 patch notes confirm that we are getting bonus XP until then.

We absolutely cannot wait for the new episode to arrive, but right now the location of the new map remains a mystery. Embark hasn’t identified the location of the upcoming map yet, but they did share a new OST, and they have now shared another one.

The Finals dev leaks another Season 4 OST

Embark Rob previously teased “official leak-week” is here for The Finals, and the developer made good on their promise by leaking a “certified mega banger” Season 4 OST. This leak provided 8 seconds of a new song for the game, and you can listen to it in the embedded Reddit post below:

Following on from this OST leak, Rob has provided yet another on the game’s official Discord. On Discord, Rob posted, “…oops I accidentally dragged and dropped…,” and attached to the message is a sound file aptly named, “ForRobsEarsOnly”.

It’s only 20 seconds long, but it shows once more that the Season 4 OST is set to be amazing. Unfortunately, it doesn’t give any stronger clues as to the location of the new map.

Fans have theorized that the new map could be set in Hollywood or be movie-themed. This is because of the sound of the first OST leak, along with the fact the file name is Now For The Action. The second OST leak is named Showtime, so that again aligns with the movie-theme theory.

The chapter will officially be previewed at San Diego TwitchCon on September 20th, so we don’t have too long to wait for the curtain to officially be pulled aside. More leaks are to be expected, too, and hopefully they will allow the community to accurately guess the location of the new map similar to Japan for Season 3.
