With the the month of May officially underway, AANHPI Heritage Month has begun, marking a time where many celebrate the rich diversity generations of Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders have bestowed and interwoven within the history of the United States. Seeing how many cultures and backgrounds have graced the NFL, Madden 23 felt it was only justified to honor some of the league’s finest stars – past and present – of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, or Pacific Islander descent.

Seeing Madden 23 did something similar for both Hispanic Heritage Month last Fall and Black History Month earlier this year, Madden 23 wanted to do something similar in honor of the various AANHPI communities that have blessed the NFL with some of the brightest talents the game has seen. Just like the previous two Hispanic Heritage and Black History Month Programs, the AANHPI Heritage Month Program only comes with six players.

Despite revealing the AANHPI Heritage Month Program yesterday afternoon on their Twitter page, Madden 23 Ultimate Team didn’t release the new drop in-game until today. However, many of you reading this article are likely wondering which new players came with the new release, and if not that, might be curious about how you can get your hands them?

Should any of those two questions be at the forefront of your mind, you’ve come just to the right place. In the very next section, we detail the full list of AANHPI Heritage Program players and how you can collect them for your Madden 23 Ultimate Team lineups.

With the new AANHPI Heritage Month Program comes a total of six players, all of which come with a 96 overall version. In order to secure any of these new AANHPI Heritage Month players, fans need to first complete the sets of challenges each come with.

Once you complete each of the four challenges with the maximum amount of stars for each AANHPI Heritage Month player, you will receive their 90 overall player item. Once you have unlocked those 90 overall player items, you will need to complete each player’s in-game missions they come with while having them in your lineup in order to evolve them to their 96 overall rated forms.

Though you need to have the 90 overall versions to complete these in-game challenges, you do not need to necessarily play with them – they just need to be in your lineup, whether as a backup or as a starter.

So without further ado, here’s the complete list of all the new AANHPI Heritage Month players that arrived in Madden 23 Ultimate Team today:

AANHPI Heritage Month Players (96 Overall)

  • Roman Gabriel (QB) – Rams
  • Tua Tagovailoa (QB) – Dolphins
  • Hines Ward (WR) – Steelers
  • Penei Sewell (RT) – Lions
  • Haloti Ngata (DT) – Ravens
  • Tedy Bruschi (MLB) – Patriots

Though it might seem a bit tedious to evolve this awesome selection of AANHPI Heritage Month Program players to their final 96 overall forms, the missions are a lot easier than they look, and can be completed by simply playing a handful of solo battles and challenges.
