On Friday February 17, 2023, Madden 23 Ultimate Team (MUT) hosted a special stream on ‘Good Morning Madden’ that revealed the Team Of The Year nominees, the final NFL Honors player, and the fan favorite, Ultimate Legends Program.
Honoring some of the greatest names that ever set foot on an NFL gridiron, the Ultimate Legends Program is its own unique edition yet a continuation of the original Legends Program celebrated earlier this season, containing players that do qualify for Legend theme teams.

Madden 23: Ultimate Legends Program
Before you take a look at all the new players, there’s a lot to the Ultimate Legends Program that is important to know in order to maximize the talent you can add to your lineups. For starters, there are two types of Ultimate Legends tokens that you will be able to use in order to improve your teams – those are Loyalty Tokens and Legend Art Tokens.
When you come across Legend Art Tokens, you will be able to place them on the 97 or 98 overall versions of the Ultimate Legends players in order to unlock discounted abilities for them. But if you come across Loyalty Tokens, you will have the option to place them in four different types of sets:
- Ultimate Legends Token Coin Quicksell Exchange – 1 Loyalty Token Required
- Ultimate Legends Token 5x Coin Quicksell Exchange – 5 Loyalty Tokens Required
- Ultimate Legends Token 87+ Overall Player Pack – 6 Loyalty Tokens Required
- Ultimate Legends Token Boss Champion Fantasy Pack – 125 Loyalty Tokens Required
Along with these tokens, also comes a set of challenges that will grant you the opportunity to secure an Ultimate Legends 87+ Overall Player Pack as well as Ultimate Legend Tokens.
Lastly, some of these new Ultimate Legend players have ‘Out Of Position (OOP)’ versions of themselves that players can acquire as well, all of which come with 95 or 96 overall ratings. So without another moment to spare, here’s the full list of Ultimate Legends Players and their OOP cards.
