Madden 23 – NFL Draft Program Parts 1 & 2

Every April, American football fans look forward to one special event that takes place: The NFL Draft. Draped in mystery yet filled with plenty of excitement, the NFL Draft is a special time of the year as fans get to behold the new wave of talent that will represent the future of the league. Unsurprisingly, Madden 23 felt it was only right for Ultimate Team fans to join in on the fun as well, and decided to cater an all-new NFL Draft Program.

Ever since Madden 23 Ultimate Team has slowly begun to unwind with its player releases as the heart of the NFL offseason sets in, the new programs that have launched – such as Mission MUT – have only gotten better. And the NFL Draft Program is certainly no exception to the rule. Honoring some of the brightest former, current, and now future NFL stars that were drafted throughout the leagues’ history, the NFL Draft Program comes baring an elite selection of player items, including all 31 first-round rookies that were selected in the 2023 NFL Draft.

The NFL Draft Program is a 2.5 part feature, with the first set of players released on April 20, the second during the NFL Draft last Thursday, April 27, and the final half today at 11AM EST / 4PM GMT. So without further ado, here’s a look at all the new NFL Draft Part 1, Part 2, and Part 2.5 players that can be found in Madden 23 Ultimate Team.

Madden 23 – NFL Draft Program

The NFL Draft Program comes with plenty to offer in Madden 23. The biggest and probably the most popular feature of the new program was that of the Mock Draft. For those that might not remember from Madden 22, or might be new to this experience all together, the Mock Draft feature in Madden 23 allowed fans prior to earn NFL Draft Vouchers they could place into sets to fulfill a 14-pick Round 1 NFL Mock Draft.

To complete the Mock Draft, fans had to play through Mock Draft Challenges with the maximum amount of challenge stars in order to earn these NFL Draft Vouchers. Once secured, fans could then place these vouchers into sets and choose which position they thought would be selected for each of the first 14 picks in the NFL Draft this year.

Should you have predicted the right positions for any of the picks, you will earn Mock Draft prizes. The more picks you accurately predicted, the more rewards you will receive. Here’s the full list of Mock Draft rewards:

• 2 Picks – 83+ Overall Elite Player
• 4 Picks – 91+ Overall NFL Draft Player
• 5 Picks – 93+ Overall NFL Draft Player

• 7 Picks – Choice of 1 of 31 First Round Draft Players
• 8 Picks – Choice of 4 of 31 First Round Draft Players
• 9 Picks – All BND NFL Draft Past Heroes & Champions
• 10 Picks – All BND NFL Draft Past Heroes & Champions plus 8 of 31 1st Round Draft Players

As you can see, the rewards are extensive for those that made the correct picks. That being said, the NFL Draft is no easy event to predict, with teams pulling off last minute changes that some never see coming.

The Mock Draft sets were available from April 20 and ran until the start of the NFL Draft – so fans had a full week to take advantage of this feature in the NFL Draft Program. With the NFL Draft now officially over, fans who made the correct picks will be able to earn their rewards later today in Madden 23 Ultimate Team. To do so, fans will need to exchange their correct Mock Draft prediction tokens once the rewards go live.

Last but not least, the NFL Draft Program does come with its own set of challenges, separate from the Mock Draft. With a total of 140 stars to be had, fans can unlock 3,000 Ultimate Team coin increments along with a 97 Overall Account Bound NFL Draft Fantasy Pack as they progress through the tiers.

Madden 23 – NFL Draft Players Part 1

The first of the 2.5 NFL Draft Program drops consists of what Madden 23 calls ‘NFL Draft Past’ players, meaning all of these items are former or active NFL players that were drafted prior to 2023. The part two and 2.5 drops, however, honor the future of the league, comprising of all 31 first round 2023 NFL Draft class members as well as several others from the remaining rounds.

But before we jump on into the Part 2 and 2.5 sections of this feature, here’s the list of all the Part 1 NFL Draft Past players you can secure in Madden 23 Ultimate Team. You can acquire these new players by completing their sets, purchasing them from store packs, or securing them from the Auction Market.

Madden 23 – NFL Draft Players Part 2

With the Part 1 NFL Draft Program player items consisting of former and current NFL stars, the Part 2 release, which took place over the first round of the NFL Draft last Thursday, (April 27), includes all 31 first round rookies that were selected in the 2023 NFL Draft.

In order to secure any of these 31 first round rookies, you will need to complete their player item sets or purchase them from the Auction Market using MUT Coin.
