Compared to its first few months, the Helldivers 2 community’s dedication to fighting for Managed Democracy has unsurprisingly fallen off a cliff. However, with Arrowhead Game Studios’ recent announcement of its upcoming Escalation of Freedom update, Super Earth patriotism is once again starting to reach an all-time high with the slew of features it will introduce at launch. And predictably enough, one feature Helldivers 2 players are eager to try out is the new difficulty level 10 in missions.
Difficulty level 10, or Super Helldive, should present an even more extreme challenge for any soldier wanting to test their mettle in the most harrowing conditions. Make no mistake, it has the potential to spill plenty of Liber-tea and bring players a ton of mental anguish. But based on several social media posts, the suffering will all be worth it. After all, extracting successfully in these missions should provide you with more samples, medals, and Super Credits than you’ve ever dreamed of.
However, some, like Reddit user schofield101, are excited to face the talon-lashing bug from Helldivers 1, the Impaler. Conversely, others, like RyanTaylorzz, are simply keen to suffer in the name of Super Earth because a new difficulty is a feature many players have long been asking for. Luckily, if you’re as eager to fight for all that is right in the Galactic War, you won’t have to wait long for the upcoming, game-changing Helldivers 2 patch that includes difficulty level 10.
