Super Earth soldiers should brace themselves for an eventful couple of weeks. The reveal of the next Helldivers 2 Warbond is imminent, and we are expecting the next update for which Arrowhead has already confirmed some fixes. While the next HD2 Warbond and update are both highly-anticipated, there is also a sense of dread about an upcoming event. Fans have been suspicious since its announcement, and now a Helldivers 2 leaker has revealed there are “undergoing tests for an Illuminate invasion” at the location of the upcoming “singularity party”.
Helldivers 2 leaker reveals “undergoing tests for Illuminate invasion”
Arrowhead has revealed that there will be a “singularity party” on May 13th. The flyer for this Helldivers 2 party promises a fantastic event for select citizens with live performances and more goodness.
Ever since the announcement, fans have been suspicious, with claims of an ominous feeling similar to vibes of the Red Wedding from Game of Thrones. Now prolific leaker, Iron_S1ghts, has added to fuel the fire.
According to Iron_S1ghts, “Widows harbor is currently undergoing tests for an Illuminate Invasion”. Depending on which side of the fence you sit, this is either alarming or exciting as the “singularity party” on May 13th will take place at Widow’s Harbor.
Fans have been feeling that Widow’s Harbor will be attacked, and this is another sign that the invasion is going to happen. Especially as, following the party announcement, Iron_S1ghts said they had “been waiting for something to happen with Widows Harbor” and that May 13th is “going to be interesting”.
They also posted the following screenshot of Widow’s Harbor back in January.
It’s not official that an Illuminate invasion is going to happen on May 13th, but it’s looking increasingly likely. Hopefully it does happen as anticipated, unless you don’t want the Illuminate to invade, in which case we hope the singularity party is nothing but sunshine and rainbows as advertised.
