All of us Super Earth Soldiers are eagerly awaiting the next Helldivers 2 update and Warbond. Arrowhead’s CEO has just recently shared with the community why the update is taking so long to come out, and the developer has also explained some of the fixes that will be included. In addition to the forthcoming update, Arrowhead has now shared the reveal date for the next Helldivers 2 Warbond as its release is coming slightly later than usual.
Reveal date for next Helldivers 2 Warbond
On the official Helldivers Discord, community manager, Baskinator, has shared that Arrowhead will be “announcing our next Warbond on May 8, and there will be more exciting news to come not long after”.
As stated by Baskinator, “the gap between our major updates and Warbond releases is a little longer this time”. Arrowhead typically release a new Warbond every six weeks, which meant the next Warbond after Borderline Justice on March 20th should’ve arrived on May 1st.
However, it will be announced a week later than usual. The message says Arrowhead will be “announcing” rather than releasing, so we assume we will only learn about the Warbond and its contents on May 8th rather than getting to buy the Premium package.
Lastly, the message ends, “We won’t stand on ceremony too much in revealing what that Warbond might be, but you’ll hear more from us soon. Until then: stand up straight, polish those boots and keep that uniform in tip-top condition, Helldivers. You’ll be needing them for the fight to come”.
It’s possible “the fight to come” could be alluding to the long-awaited arrival of the Illuminate, but right now it’s just a vague sendoff. We’re looking forward to the reveal of the next Warbond, and hopefully it’s a good one.
