Helldivers 2 fans have a busy month ahead of them. Not only are we getting Liberty Day in just a few weeks, but Arrowhead will soon be releasing their next major patch following an influx of buffs in HD2. The release date for the next Helldivers 2 update has now been confirmed, and the developer has revealed some of the “exciting changes” that will be included.
Arrowhead has been teasing this patch for awhile. We were told in September that buffs were on the way for the jump pack and purifier, and fans are hopeful Arrowhead will fix a mission type that is confirmed to be bugged. As for beyond this patch, don’t forget that Liberty Day is set for October 26th, and some very cool armor has leaked for the occasion.
While we cannot wait for Liberty Day, the good news is that the next Helldivers 2 update will arrive before. The patch is set to drop next week, and there are some meaty changes for fans to anticipate.
Helldivers 2 next update release date
The release date for the next Helldivers 2 update is October 15th. This has been confirmed by Arrowhead with their latest announcement on the game’s official X account.
In addition to revealing the patch will drop next week, the developer has confirmed some of the most “exciting changes” that will be included. Of course, it’s not everything, but below are the changes so far:
- Introduced flak to the autocannon
- Recoilless rifle has received programmable ammo
- The scorcher has automatic fire
- Changes to the stalwart
- With your backpack function you can recall and let out your drone
This is all that has been teased so far. There’s not many specifics, but it’s stuff to anticipate nonetheless. Again, the update will drop on October 15th, and we’ll be sure to share the full patch notes when they’re live.
