As the threat of the Automatons becomes ever greater in Helldivers 2, Super Earth is improving its offensive capabilities by adding new Ship Modules for players to unlock and use. These Ship Modules could help turn the tide and help players complete the current Major Order which sees the Helldivers defend five planets from the robots.

In a post on the Helldivers 2 X page, Arrowhead Game Studios announced the addition of the Level 4 Ship Modules to help combat the returning Automatons who reappeared just one day after being eradicated.

“SUPER DESTROYER FLEET UPGRADE In response to increased enemy threat, Helldivers are now authorized to requisition Level 4 Modules for all Super Destroyer systems.”

The new Level 4 Ship Modules are a welcome addition to the fight against the Automatons, as tens of thousands of warships suddenly appeared signaling the return of the robots. Since then, the Helldivers have been fighting on the back foot and defending their planets from the robot onslaught.

In total, there are six new Level 4 Ship Modules, one for each category. Each module improves an aspect of stratagems to make them more deadly against the Automatons. Here are all of the new Level 4 Ship Modules that have been added to Helldivers 2.

The new Level 4 Ship Modules arrived at the same time as the new Democratic Detonation Premium Warbond adding three new weapons, new armor, and new cosmetic items to the game. Democratic Detonation can be purchased for 1,000 Super Credits either by purchasing the credits from the Store or by earning them in-game. The new Warbond could shake up the meta of the game, but to make sure you are in the best position to bring democracy to the Automatons, we highly recommend checking out our Helldivers 2 best weapons guide and best armor guide.
