Super Credits are the in-game currency for Helldivers 2 that allows you to purchase items from the game’s store. They can be bought for real-world cash, or earned through gameplay. Super Credits let you pick up some of the best armour and items in Helldivers 2. The good news is there is a way of speeding up that process that works every time.

How to farm Super Credits Helldivers 2

The best way to farm Super Credits is by loading up an easy mission with a long timer, for example on Trivial difficulty, and hunting down all the different points of interest. Make note of the ones that give you Super Credits and make sure you’re using your minimap to mark locations. It’s important you play on the easiest setting as it’ll give you the clearest possible run – and you don’t need to jack up the challenge in order to get the Super Credits.

Now for the neat part. All you need to do then is close and reload the game, then jump back into the same map and repeat that same process. Importantly, do not extract from the mission. This will clear the map from your galaxy briefing console, so you’d have to relearn a whole new map. Repeat this process and you can earn around 100-200 Super Credits per hour of farming with this method.

Other ways to get free Super Credits

There are some other ways to get Super Credits, which we go into below, but these are very much ‘standard’ and non-farming techniques.

Open bunkers and containers at POIs during missions

Pros
  • You can get them while playing the game
  • Allows for farming
Cons
  • Low amounts, unless you use the above farming method

You can get a few Super Credits directly while playing missions. Just remember that they are rarer on smaller missions like Eradicate, Egg Nest, and Automation Defend missions. Play the regular 40-minute timer ones and go to all the diamond point-of-interest icons you see on the map. These bunkers, caches, and crashed pod sites can be blown open for weapons, Warbond Medals, samples, and sometimes, 5-10 Super Credits. A golden ray of light will point you in the right direction. Try easier difficulties and light armour (better stamina and radar perks) to explore the map quickly. The UAV Recon booster is another tool that will help you by enhancing the range of your radar.

Otherwise, you can get Super Credits from Warbonds by unlocking them with Medals. This can net you a variable amount, but is a finite resource. And lastly, you can outright purchase them from the Superstore for real-life cash.

How to use Super Credits in Helldivers 2

Super Credits can be used to purchase Premium Warbonds or gear in the Superstore. This shop sells exclusive armour sets that rotate on a regular schedule, sort of like the Item Shop in other video games. You can get a solid helmet, cape, and so much more with your credits. Note that armor sets are cycled every 44 hours so return to check out the latest gear.

Warbonds require Super Credits to purchase and medals to unlock the items. Purchasing a Warbond will get you access to weapons and armour that you wouldn’t have otherwise. This is how you get your hands on weapons such as the SG-451 Cookout and the GP-31 Grenade Pistol.
