God of War: Ragnarok, the sequel to Sony’s 2018 hit God of War, is arriving on PS4 and PS5 consoles with some regions already getting their hands on the game.
Ragnarok has already launched in New Zealand as gamers in Europe, the UK and the US edge closer to finally getting hands on with Sony Santa Monica’s latest epic.
God of War: Ragnarok release time
The game launches at midnight in each region – so those in Australia and New Zealand have been playing the game since around 11am UK time. Gamers in Japan can also play Ragnarok right now, which went live at around 3pm UK time. Ragnarok will go live in Germany at around 11pm UK time, before the UK follows.
The East Coast of the US will join around 5 hours later, while the West coast – such as San Francisco – will be playing around 8am UK time.
Of course, some people may try the famous ‘New Zealand’ trick to get early access, but as we describe here, we would advise against this. The good news is that you can now preload the game, so you won’t be waiting around when Ragnarok finally unlocks.
