Epic Games released many iconic Fortnite skins in Chapter 1. A lot of these skins have become rare, mostly because they were released in the Battle Pass. Due to this, they are very valuable, and many players would love to have them in their lockers.

Unfortunately, the latest Fortnite update ruined many of these skins. Players claim that Epic changed 3D models of the skins, but hasn’t changed their textures. As a result, the skins now look odd, and players are hoping that the game developer will revert the change.

The good news is that these changes are rather subtle. However, some players dislike them and would like Epic Games to provide a refund for the skins.

These Fortnite skins received a secret change

Reddit user Oddnumber71 recently made a post regarding secret skin changes in Fortnite. It turns out that Epic Games updated models of Chapter 1 skins, making them look different. While this is an issue for many players, an even bigger issue is that Epic did not update textures to match new models.

The biggest difference between the old and new models is the size of the arms. The new model has weird arms, which simply don’t look good on certain skins. To make things worse, Epic released this update for both male and female skins.

A few other Reddit users believe that this is simply a glitch that will be fixed. Unfortunately, many others believe that Epic Games permanently changed these Fortnite skins and that they won’t be reverted to the old model. However, the development team should at least release matching textures in the future.

The v26.30 Fortnite update is scheduled to come out in October, and there’s a chance that Epic will either revert the change or fix textures with it. Additionally, it won’t be surprising if the company offers refunds for the Item Shop skins that have been changed.
