V-Bucks are the most valuable currently in Fortnite, as they are used to purchase cosmetic items. Unfortunately, the only sustainable way to get them is by purchasing them for real money. While it’s possible to earn free V-Bucks, this is quite rare, and saving up to buy expensive cosmetics is nearly impossible.

For what it’s worth, Epic Games occasionally sends V-Bucks back to Fortnite players. This is mostly done due to incorrect pricing in the Item Shop, which is also the case with the latest refund. Our article has everything you need to know about the latest V-Bucks refund, so keep reading to check your eligibility.

The latest V-Bucks refund has been sent to Fortnite accounts

The latest Fortnite x Star Wars collaboration brought numerous new cosmetic items to the game. From a Yoda back bling to a LEGO Fortnite Pass, there is a lot of new content in every game mode, including Rocket Racing. The racing mode received a couple of new items, and some of them can even be unlocked for free by completing quests.

If you’re a big fan of Star Wars and play Rocket Racing, you can purchase the Darth Maul wheels from the Item Shop. Naturally, these wheels can also be used in the Battle Royale mode. Interestingly, Epic Games incorrectly priced this item at 700 V-Bucks the first time it came out. The price was reduced to 400 later on, which is why many Fortnite players received a V-Bucks refund.

Epic Games announced a refund on X (formerly Twitter), revealing that all eligible players received it.

The Darth Maul Wheels offer is now priced correctly in the Item Shop. 300 V-Bucks refunds has been issued to all players who purchased and kept the Darth Maul Wheels at the 700 V-Bucks price point. Thanks for your patience.

If you purchased the wheels before the pricing adjustments, you are eligible for a refund. Due to this, you need to launch Fortnite and check if you received them. Once you get into the game, you will receive a pop-up that shows your refunded V-Bucks. If you are eligible and didn’t get them, you can contact Epic Games support.
