Techland has attempted to further clarify its claim yesterday that Dying Light 2: Stay Human will take “500 hours to complete” via a follow-up tweet.
The studio had already made one clarification following fan discussion of the claim. However, not taking any chances, the team further made clear the main story will only take 20 hours. If players want to finish the main story and all of the side quests, then they’re looking at 80 hours. But if you’re a completionist who wants to do all that & see every choice and ending, go everywhere, hear all dialogue and grab every collectible? Then you’ll be looking at that 500 hour mark.
We’ve still got more to see from Dying Light 2: Stay Human before its release next month. In fact, later this week will see the next and final Dying 2 Know broadcast on Thursday evening. The studio has also been busy producing mini-episodes entitled Dying 2 Know More, which have covered things like UI and a chat with Lawan actress Rosario Dawson.
Dying Light 2: Stay Human arrives on February 4 on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC. There’s also a Cloud Version on the way for the Nintendo Switch scheduled for the same day.
We wanted to clarify our recent communication about the amount of hours required to complete the game. Dying Light 2: Stay Human is designed for players with different gameplay styles and preferences to explore the world how they see fit.#DyingLight2 pic.twitter.com/tcaDKULMo8
