Dying Light 2: Stay Human developer Techland has released its latest Dying 2 Know More video, offering fans a look behind the scenes of the upcoming zombie game.

The latest edition features a sit-down chat with UI Producer Agata Sykula, who talks about the game’s user interface. The team trawled thousands of hours of gameplay recordings to figure out the kinds of information players will find useful. Players of different skills and abilities may need different HUD options, of course. Howewever, these should be customisable so those who want more immersion can also enjoy the game.

As Sykula notes, there’s no one-size fits all solution. And so you’ll be able to switch on and off many HUD elements as you see fit. This includes health bars, stamina bars and more. Of course, accessibility is also a huge consideration, to allow all players to enjoy the game, regardless of their physical abilities.

Some of these accessibility considerations include options to customise the size, background and colour of captions. There’s also options to change quick time events from tapping to holding buttons, and even a specific control scheme for left-handed people. The team promise to continue to add accessibility options after the game’s launch too.
