Techland has published a new video giving Dying Light 2 Stay Human fans on last-gen consoles a taste of what they can expect when the game arrives this week.

It’s longer version than the brief 1-minute clip we got during the game’s final Need 2 Know broadcast earlier this month. Most of the different SKUs are all covered, including PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4 Pro, Xbox One and Xbox One X. And heck, everything still looks very impressive, with the action looking pretty smooth even on the older consoles. That’s in spite of there being lots of vegetation, fields of wheat and a lot of debris and rubble in the background of most scenes.

The video closes out with an uncut parkour run, flicking between the consoles nicely. Of course, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S owners can no doubt enjoy fancy features like quick loading and even silkier visuals. But it’s good to know the older machines will be no slouch either, or at least with the spectre of 2020’s launch of Cyberpunk 2077 still recent in the memory, we hope not.

We’ll all find out if the last-gen version holds up in a longer, more sustained setting when Dying Light 2 Stay Human arrives this Friday, February 4. It’ll be available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC with a Nintendo Switch Cloud Version to follow within the following six months.
