Techland’s final Dying 2 Know broadcast took place last night, giving us another peek at Dying Light 2: Stay Human ahead of its launch next month.
The episode offered up a deep dive into the open-world zombie smasher’s co-op gameplay, as previously promised. You and up to three other friends will be able to play the entire game from start to finish in co-op. People who join you will keep their items and character progression, and everyone gets to vote on narrative choices. The host will have the final say though, as the world will follow their story.
Elsewhere in the broadcast, developers Techland offered up some console comparison footage. This showed the game running on PlayStation 4, Xbox One X, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. While it was only a short snippet, it was impressive how similar each version looked, although the next-gen versions had a noticeably higher frame rate, of course. The team promise to show off more comparisons at a later time.
Finally, the broadcast closed off with a brand new gameplay trailer. You can check that out along with the full Dying 2 Know broadcast below. Dying Light 2: Stay Human arrives on February 4 and will land on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PC and Nintendo Switch.
