DBD Alan Wake Chapter 30.5 release time countdown – when does new survivor come out?

Dead By Daylight remains one of the best multiplayer games thanks to its dream collaborations. Last year was special for the community, and here’s hoping 2024 will be just as good. While Chapter 31 will come out in March, before then we are getting treated to the mid-chapter 30.5. Here is the DBD Chapter 30.5 release date and time countdown for when new survivor Alan Wake will come out. 

Chapter 30 is the latest episode of Dead By Daylight. It introduced Chucky as a killer along with the unique distinction of a third-person POV. No new killers or survivors have been announced beyond January, but there is hope that there will be a second collaboration with Stranger Things especially since Stranger Things came back to Dead By Daylight in 2023.

We hope the year will be full of great original and licensed killers. While killers will arrive throughout the year, new survivor Alan Wake is inbound for DBD Chapter 30.5.

Dead By Daylight Chapter 30.5 release date

The release date for Dead By Daylight Chapter 30.5 and new survivor Alan Wake is January 30th. This is confirmed by BeHaviour Interactive in the Alan Wake page on the DBD website.

When does DBD Chapter 30.5 and Alan Wake out?

The release date and time countdown for when DBD Chapter 30.5 and Alan Wake survivor will come out is 8 AM PT/ 11 AM ET/ 4 PM GMT on January 30th.

Thanks to the release of the PTB on January 9th, BeHaviour Interactive has already shared the perks and abilities for Alan Wake. His powers are as follows:

• Champion of LightWhile you are holding a flashlight, this perk activates. When you are shining a flashlight, you have 50% Haste. When you successfully blind the Killer, they also gain 20% Hindered for 6 seconds. This effect cannot stack with itself. Then, this perk goes on cool-down for 80/70/60 seconds.
•   Boon: IlluminationPress and hold the Ability button 1 near a Dull or Hex Totem to bless it and create a Boon Totem. Soft chimes ring out in a 24 meter range. Survivors inside your boon totem’s range see the aura of all chests and all generators in blue. If you have a lit boon totem, you cleanse or bless totems 6/8/10% faster. You can only bless one Totem at a time. All equipped boon perks are active on your Boon Totem.
•   DeadlineThis perk activates when you are injured. Skill Checks appear 6/8/10% more frequently when repairing or healing and appear in random places. The penalty for missing skill checks is reduced by 50%.
