The release of Call of Duty Black Ops 6 has already resulted in one of the biggest successes for the long-running franchise. As the game breaks internet traffic records and suffers from some of the worst spawns in franchise history, all eyes are on the latest CoD title and its future updates.

Just after launch, fans are already datamining Black Ops 6 to find new events, maps, modes and weapons coming to the game. In the latest datamine, fans have already discovered the return of a beloved fan-favourite mode: Nuketown 24/7.

Nuketown 24/7 is coming to Black Ops 6

As spotted by SemtexLeaks, a very accurate haven for CoD leaks, the ever-popular Nuketown 24/7 mode is set to return in Black Ops 6. Multiple lines of code within the game reference the unreleased mode, likely meaning it will return in the future.

Alongside the normal Nuketown 24/7 mode, a hardcore version will also be included. “Hardcore rules. Nuketown. All day. All night” reads the description for the harder mode.

As expected, Nuketown 24/7 in Black Ops 6 will take place exclusively on the iconic map from the original Black Ops game. This mode will feature Team Deathmatch, Kill Confirmed, Domination, Hardpoint and Kill Order.

Adding back missing modes

While Nuketown 24/7 is one of the most expected additions to Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, its launch absence is also expected. However, the arrival of the latest CoD has come without a number of expected, traditional game modes including most “party” modes such as Gun Game and more.

Over time, Treyarch will add most of these modes back to the game alongside a bunch of new weapons and maps. Furthermore, issues like the game’s spawning should be fixed–knock on wood–as more updates are released.

While it is nice to see Nuketown 24/7 coming back to Black Ops, it’s also not surprising in the slightest. Hopefully, with more updates on the way, we’ll be able to see modes that will become just as iconic as this one.
