Yes, we will indeed be having 10 new levels to progress through taking us to a max level of 70, with various unlocks and that ultimate goal of max level so we can start progressing into end game content. Whether you want to raid, mythic + or PVP leveling will be done by everyone. Even you mount farmers and transmog collectors will benefit from the extra levels opening up the ability to solo more content for all those collectables.

Best ways to level in Dragonflight
There are a couple of realistic options here, you do get xp from gathering for example but it’s a miniscule amount so going the whole 10 levels with gathering alone is going to take you a long time. If you do want to do gathering however this is a great time to get a few bonus skill points and a few pieces of xp, grabbing the nodes you see as you quest and explore the zone is certainly worth doing.

Getting to max level at a reasonable pace is going to be either questing, dungeon spamming or a mix of the 2. The questing is the most important part however as you cannot start your end game quests without completing the story and as we’ve seen in previous expansions Blizzard may add later storylines that will require this first set to be completed also.

What we would recommend is to quest through the zones and as you go you will get a dungeon quest in each zone. At this point continue questing but sign up for the dungeon you have the quest for in the dungeon finder. Make sure you select a specific dungeon to make sure you get the correct dungeon!

This will let you experience some of the new dungeons and provide a juicy amount of experience as you go along.
What unlocks while leveling in Dragonflight
While leveling up your character you’ll notice various unlocks as you go, the first and maybe the most important for your character power is going to be talents. From 60-70 you will unlock 5 new class talents and 5 new spec specific talents. These will almost all be spent in the bottom of the trees so you’ll be getting some of the best points in the tree!

You’ll also notice that upon leveling you’ll get the notification that a dungeon has been unlocked. This means you can queue for it in the LFG tool so if you’d like to check out the new dungeons this is the unlock you’re looking for. We do recommend you wait for the relevant dungeon quest that goes along with the dungeon but it’s up to you.
And finally there is the end game and everything that entails upon reaching that final level of 70!
