Tears of the Kingdom wild greens: A Hyrule Herb in Link's inventory

How do you get Wild Greens in Tears of the Kingdom?

This is sort of a trick question, as ‘Wild Greens’ don’t actually exist in TotK. As part of the Gloom-Borne Illness quest, Lasil in Kakariko Village asks you to fetch her some Wild Greens to make a porridge for her sick grandmother. But as you might have found from searching, there isn’t a plant in Hyrule called Wild Greens. What Lasil is referring to is just any wild plants that you might come across around Hyrule, such as Hyrule Herb.

How to complete the Gloom-Borne Illness quest

Aside from these ‘Wild Greens’, you’ll also need the main ingredient required to make the porridge for this quest. On various sky islands, you’ll come across small yellow flowers called Sundelions. When cooked into a meal, these Sundelions will heal any gloom damage you may have taken.

Once you’ve got these plants, make sure to pop by a food store to pick up some Hateno Milk and Hylian Rice. Once you’ve got all the ingredients, head to any cooking pot (there’s one by Lasil in Kakariko Village) and throw in your milk, rice, plants, and Sundelion to create a Sunny Veggie Porridge. Lasil will take this to her grandmother whose illness will be cured after eating it, completing the quest.

That’s everything you need to know about how to find Wild Greens in Tears of the Kingdom.
