The Tears of the Kingdom Mayaumekis Shrine is one you’ll probably have come across as part of the Regional Phenomena main story quest. The Downward Force Shrine is worth doing in The Legend of Zelda TotK, as the skills it tests will be put to good use in the upcoming temple.

It’s a great Shrine to teleport to as you’ll be able to use your Tears of the Kingdom Paraglider to get to some harder to reach areas of the Tears of the Kingdom map, so be sure to check in as you go past.

Where is the Mayaumekis Shrine in Tears of the Kingdom?

The Tears of the Kingdom Mayaumekis Shrine location is in the Hebra Sky region of Hyrule above the Hebra peak. You’ll probably come across the shrine following the Tulin of Rito Village main quest as you make your way to the Stormwind Ark by navigating the rising island chain. The coordinates of the Mayaumekis Shrine are -2946, 3052, 0897.

Tears of the Kingdom Mayaumekis Shrine puzzle solutions and walkthrough

You’ll start the Shrine trapped in a locked room. Simply walk up to the bars to the right of the gate and hit the yellow switch on the other side using a bow and arrow. Walk into the next room and up the stairs in front of you, where you’ll find a Construct. Defeat the Construct and walk to the edge of the platform where you’ll see a floating boat.

Jump on the canvas on top of the boat to use it like a trampoline, and you’ll fly upwards, passing through the centre of a platform above. Land on the platform, and go to the boat that’s up here. Jump on it, and you’ll see a moving boat in the distance, as well as a small platform with a treasure chest in the far left corner. Glide over to it using your paraglider. Don’t drop onto it, and instead use your paraglider to land carefully on it. This way you won’t immediately jump back up.

Wait until the boat is as close to the corner as possible, and then jump. At the peak of your jump, use your glider to reach the platform and open the chest to receive 10 arrows. Be careful not to jump too early, as you may not be able to reach the platform with enough height to land on it. Once you’ve opened the chest, turn around and glide over to a platform with a boat next to it.

Jumping on the boat, you will fly past a small room with another yellow switch through some bars. As you fall down, get your bow out and use bullet time to hit it with an arrow as you’re falling to open the gate to the Shrine. Jump on the boat again, and now as you’re falling, glide over to the boat in front of you, and underneath the gate you just opened. Fly up and interact with the Shrine to receive a Light of Blessing.
