The Zelda Tears of the Kingdom Domizuin Shrine appears simple at first, but you might soon find yourself faced with a puzzle with seemingly no solution. Like many Shrines in The Legend of Zelda TotK, it’s a tricky one but you’ll kick yourself once you know the answer.

Fly yourself over to the Tears of the Kingdom Domizuin Shrine from the nearby Tears of the Kingdom Skyview Tower, ready your Tears of the Kingdom Ascend ability, and let’s get you that Light of Blessing.

Where is the Domizuin Shrine in Tears of the Kingdom?

Tears of the Kingdom Domizuin Shrine puzzle solutions and walkthrough

You’ll start the Shrine with a small walkway leading underneath a large pillar in front of you. Simply walk beneath the pillar and Ascend through it. Ahead, you’ll see a large metal cage with a glowing switch in front of it. Hit the switch to rotate the cage, which will let you enter it.

Once you’ve entered the cage, go to the far right corner where you’ll see a pillar with a treasure chest on it. Ascend through the pillar and open the chest to receive ten arrows. Go to the middle platform and hit the switch in the middle twice to rotate the cage. Now, turn left and you should have an opening to walk onto a platform with another chest containing a Zonai Charge.

Return to the cage, but this time instead of going back to the centre, turn right and you’ll see a pillar with a chest hanging on the side. You can’t open it from here so stand next to it and hit the switch in the middle with an arrow. This will rotate the cage with you on top of the pillar, allowing you to open the chest to receive a Strong Zonaite Shield.

Go back to the centre platform, but do not hit the switch. Instead, turn back towards the entrance and use an arrow to shoot the switch outside the cage. This will rotate the cage horizontally instead of vertically. Now, hit the switch in the cage three more times. In the back-right corner of the cage, you’ll now see that the long platform now reaches from the top of the cage to near the bottom.

Walk underneath the platform and use Ascend. This will take you outside the cage, and let you walk around on the top. Walk towards the Shrine and jump over the corner of the gap and onto the stairs. If you fall, simply paraglide down and Ascend back up to try again. Interact with the Shrine to receive your Light of Blessing.
