Struggling with the Tears of the Kingdom A Wife Wafted Away quest? Once you’ve beaten the Water Temple and cleaned up Zora’s Domain, you’ll be able to take on this quest and help out a Zora couple in need.
You’ll need to travel back to the Water Temple, or use one of the nearby Tears of the Kingdom shrines. You can also potentially use one of the many pieces of Tears of the Kingdom armour you’ll pick up on your journey. Tears of the Kingdom A Wife Wafted Away quest walkthrough
To start this quest, you’ll need to have completed the Water Temple. Head to Zora’s Domain, and at the entrance to the city near end of the Great Zora Bridge, you’ll find a Zora man named Fronk. Talk to him, and he will reveal that his wife Mei has gone missing, and that he needs your help to find her.
He mentions that she went east of Zora’s domain, humming about a floating island. The island in question is just southeast of the Water Temple. You have two options to get there. The first is to travel east to the summit of Ploymus Mountain, and using the Zora Armor, swim up the waterfall you find here. Alternatively, fast travel to the Water Temple or Igoshon Shrine and head southeast. We’ve marked the location on the map above in case you can’t find it.
Once you reach the island, you’ll find Mei standing next to a small pool of water, fishing for Hyrule Bass. Talk to her, and let her know that Fronk is worried about her. She will immediately head home. Head back to Zora’s Domain and return to Fronk, where you’ll find the couple reunited. Talk to them to receive a Hearty Bass Meal and complete the quest.
