The Street Fighter 6 character list is bringing in several familiar faces – and a handful of new ones – to the popular Capcom fighting game franchise. Aside from the ever-popular series staples in Chun-Li, Ken, and Ryu, some of the other fan favorites that are making their way back into the fray include Zangief, Dhalsim, and Blanka.
With Rashid now in the game since July 24, attention is being turned to the game’s next playable roster adddition, A.K.I. – who’s arriving in Autumn of 2023. So far, we’ve had a teaser trailer drop for the poison-loving character, but we’ll have to wait a little longer to find out her move set and specific release date.

All Street Fighter 6 characters
Now that Street Fighter 6 is here, players are taking to the streets and throwing down hands with the game’s launch characters – as well as making their own in the game’s story modes. Aside from the returning names mentioned previously that long-time fans are sure to appreciate, a few fresh fighters are also making their first appearances with this installment.

Right now, there are a total of 18 characters that will make up the Street Fighter 6 character list. However, four additional names will also be making their way into the game in the future through the Year 1 Character Pass, which can be acquired by pre-ordering the Deluxe and Ultimate Editions of the game.
Based on Capcom’s Year 1 Character Reveal trailer, Rashid, A.K.I. Ed, and Akuma are all going to be returning to the roster across the next twelve months. Each character will be released over the next few real-world season – so Rashid dropped in Summer 2023, A.K.I drops in Autumn and so on. They’ll all be available as part of the game’s DLC.
