A new Street Fighter 6 gameplay trailer has now surfaced showcasing the new character, Rashid, and his outstanding airbending skills. Naturally, most of the scenes shown throughout the short preview focused on exhibiting the upcoming fighter’s talents, which included the deadly ‘cyclone’ kicks he can generate, the high-flying attacks he can execute, and the witty quips that come with each one.

Of course, his introduction to Capcom’s latest fighting game installment isn’t exactly surprising as it’s already been teased through the most recent batch of patch notes. However, this hasn’t stopped fans from sharing their positive impressions as evidenced by the responses under the official Street Fighter 6 Rashid gameplay trailer.

Most players were predictably excited for the “Turbulent Wind’s” arrival as one user said “he looks so cool, it almost made me forget I’m going to hate fighting him,” while another praised both his visual and gameplay design, calling it “fantastic.” On the other hand, a different commenter decided to applaud the character’s voice acting instead by saying they “love how Ian Sinclair brings so much personality to a fun character like Rashid.”

Alas, if you’re itching to try out Rashid and his airbending talent for yourself, you’ll unfortunately have to remain patient for a little while longer as the Turbulent Wind won’t be a part of Street Fighter 6 until July 24. It’s important to keep in mind, though, that this new character, along with the rest of the upcoming ones, will be available through the Year 1 Character Pass, which you’ll need to purchase if you only got the game’s Standard version.

Now, while you wait for Rashid to cyclone-kick his way onto your screen, we suggest checking out our guides on how to trigger pressure time, how to wall jump, and how to take photos in Street Fighter 6 for now so you can keep on enjoying the game’s content.
