During your time with Resident Evil 4 Remake, you’ll frequently come across locked drawers that hold all manner of valuables. These drawers can only be opened by small keys, and there are a limited number of them in Resident Evil 4 Remake.
Thankfully, every locked drawer has a corresponding small key somewhere within the area, even if not within the same chapter. With enough exploration, you’ll be able to claim the keys and the treasures they unlock. We’ll help you track down each of the small keys with our Resident Evil 4 Remake guide.

Where To Find Small Keys In Resident Evil 4 Remake
1st Small Key
The first small key can be found in the valley in chapter 2, inside the room directly below where the hexagonal emblem is located.
2nd Small Key
The second small key is also located in chapter 2, on the ground floor of the Village Chief’s Manor. Grab the key before heading up to the master bedroom.
3rd Small Key
The third small key in Resident Evil 4 remake can be located in the fish farm during chapter 3. Just before grabbing the boat fuel at the end of the farm, enter the small shack to the left and find the small key inside.
4th Small Key
The fourth small key is located at the Forest Altar in Chapter 4. This area is out of the way and requires backtracking to the fishing settlement once you’ve acquired the boat. Use the insignia key to open the previously locked gate and move through the shack inside. Head up the ladder and you’ll find the small key on a cart at the shrine.
