How do you unlock the Explorer in Remnant 2?

To unlock the Explorer, you have to exchange the Broken Compass for the Golden Compass with Wallace in Ward 13. The Broken Compass is an item you receive when you complete the game for the first time. After beating the final boss, the credits will roll, after which you’ll find yourself back in Ward 13 with the Broken Compass already in your inventory.

Once you’ve beaten the game, head over to Wallace in the Ward 13 docks and you can exchange the Broken Compass for the Golden Compass, costing 10 Lumenite Crystals and 1000 scrap. This will unlock the Explorer archetype, and equipping the Golden Compass will give you access to the Explorer’s skills and perks.

The Explorer is the perfect treasure hunter in Remnant 2 and has some great perks that let them farm loot more effectively. Their Prime Perk, Lucky, gives a 10% chance to spawn additional items and rarer drops when defeating stronger enemies. This goes up to 20% at level 5, and 35% at level 10.

Their level 10 skill, Fortune Hunter, sometimes referred to as Treasure Hunter, is the best skill in the game when it comes to finding loot. It increases the Explorer’s treasure sense to reveal special items within 40m for all allies. If you’re in an area like N’Erud where the fog stops you from seeing clearly, using this ability can be an excellent way of finding some rare items you otherwise wouldn’t have.

That’s all you need to know about how to unlock the Explorer in Remnant 2. If you’re looking to get to level 10 for that Fortune Hunter skill, then check out how to level up fast in Remnant 2.
