What is a Simulacrum in Remnant 2?
Simulacrums are an incredibly rare item that are used as a material in the process of upgrading your relics, such as the Dragon Heart. For each relic upgrade, you’ll require one Simulacrum, making it a very important material, and one you’ll want to keep an eye out for in every biome. Unfortunately, it can be very difficult to find, so be sure that the relic you’re going to upgrade is one you’re sure to use, as you don’t want to waste any of your Simulacrums.
How do you get Simulacrums in Remnant 2?
There are two ways to get a Simulacrum in Remnant 2. These are:
- Buying one from Cass in Ward 13
- Finding them while exploring biomes
Buying from Cass
When you first return from your first trip into the World Crystal, you’ll find that Cass has set up a shop where she’s selling bits and pieces that she’s found while scavenging. One of these is a Simulacrum, which she’s selling for 1,500 scrap. While this is a rare item, be aware that scrap is also difficult to farm in Remnant 2, so you don’t want to throw such a high amount away immediately.
Finding Simulacrums in biomes
Looking for Simulacrums in biomes is the much more affordable way to find them, though it will require a lot more effort on your part. Simulacrums are not easy to find, and you might not come across one in an entire run through a particular biome. This means you have to make sure to check every single area in case you’ve missed one, whether that’s killing every enemy, looting every chest, or even just checking the a dead end that you missed on your way through. It might be a little tedious, but the reward is worth it, so don’t ignore these nooks and crannies.
