For now, let’s take a look at how to get scrap fast in Remnant 2 so you can spend to your heart’s content.

Best ways to farm scrap in Remnant 2

Having a stockpile of scrap is important when it comes to keeping your gear as high-level as possible, so make sure to farm some scrap whenever you can. There are four major ways that you can farm scrap in Remnant 2. These are:

  • Killing enemies
  • Opening chests
  • Selling items
  • Adventure Mode

Killing enemies

Sometimes when you kill an enemy, they’ll drop scrap for you to pick up. This means that you’ll just naturally be accumulating scrap as you play through the game, keeping you at a steady level. However, this is not a reliable method to farm large amounts of scrap, as not all enemies will drop it, and it drops in relatively small amounts. When you’re progressing through biomes, be sure to kill any and every enemy you see for the chance for scrap, but if farming scrap is your priority, there are better ways.

Opening chests

Around each level, you’ll find chests located around mini-bosses or in certain out of the way locations. As well as offering up relics, upgrade materials and more, you can also get a decent amount of scrap from them. Check your map regularly for orange dots which signify the location of a chest, and be sure to explore any areas you haven’t already as there might be some chests hidden there.

Selling items

While progressing through each biome, you’ll steadily pick up items from enemies, chests, bosses and mini-bosses. While some of these are relatively inexpensive, you can get your hands on some items which will fetch a pretty penny at any shop. A couple of good options for this are Relic Dust, which only sells for 15 scrap, but that you’ll accumulate a lot of, and Lumenite Crystals, which sell for 150 scrap. Be careful with the Lumenite Crystals, though, as these are used to upgrade your weapons, and you don’t want to end up with none left.

Adventure Mode

Once you’ve reached the Labyrinth for the first time, you’ll gain access to Adventure Mode. This is a mode where you can create a version of a biome that you can complete separately from the main story biomes. This means you can quickly blitz through a level, beat the bosses and collect all the chests to farm for scrap, selling the items you pick up there, and then reroll to create a new one. Essentially, doing Adventure Mode runs is like combining all the above three methods into one repeatable method. If you’re after scrap in a rush, this is the way to go.
