How To Get Kricketot

You can find Kricketot wandering around shortly after the beginning phases of the game, very quickly once you’re given free rein to roam around in the world of Paldea. You will find our little musical bug friend residing in the olive field in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s South Province (Area Two).

You can also find Kricketot strolling the orchards outside of Cortondo if you enter through the Western Gate. They could stray by themselves or between the Combee colonies. Kricketot is a vibrant red Pokémon with a cheery yellow collar and a large black antenna. Because of their unsurprisingly small size though, you will have to be careful not to miss them.

When navigating this area, the recommended team level is 7-11, especially if you’re looking to capture the Pokemon that reside there. You don’t want Kricketot fainting before you get the chance! This makes it necessary to capture Kricketot here at early levels if you’re looking to complete your Dex; otherwise, you might have to keep retrying Raids later down the line, hoping you get it as an encounter.

How To Evolve Kricketot Into Kricketune

Evolving your Kricketot is a simple task seeing that, as with most Bug-type Pokemon that we’ve seen in the history of the franchise, it evolves at relatively low levels. Your Kricketot will evolve into a Kricketune at level 10.

That said, you can bring your Kricketot to this level by exploring and battling Pokemon in very low-level areas that you’re meant to traverse early on in the game. However, if you’re feeling particularly impatient, you can simply use Rare Candies to speed up the process of having them evolve. It’s really all up to you!
