Where to find the Jormuntide in Palworld

You can find the Jormuntide hanging out in the giant skeletal remains of the Verdant Brooke. The Brooke can be found in the water between the two large islands leading up to the Desiccated Dessert, and the large mountainous island with the Free Pal Alliance Tower at its heart. You can approach from either the east or west.

If you’re coming to the Brooke from the east, your best fast travel point will likely be the Natural Bridge waypoint, or the East Wild Island Waypoint. From the former, head almost straight north. From the latter, travel directly west. You’ll soon enough run into the mountainous pile of bones that the Jormuntide calls home.

If you instead decide to approach from the west, the Sealed Realm of the Swift is your best bet. Follow the paths or climb over the rocks to head eastward until you come to the easternmost peninsula of the island, split down the middle by a vast volcanic lava flow. Follow the flow directly south, and at its mouth you’ll find the giant bones the Jormuntide calls home.

How to catch the Jormuntide

The Jormuntide is a pretty late-game enemy, with a lot of health and a vast number of powerful attacks. If you’re set on capturing it, we’d recommend equipping yourself well. Aim for at least a Mega Shield and Metal Armor. Ideally, you’ll want an Assault Rifle, though if you’re going to rely mostly on your pal party to fight then you should be fine with at least a handgun.

We’d recommend having a full party of pals no lower than level 40, though 42-45 is more ideal. Ice type pals are a good pick here, as their abilities to freeze opponents in place open up some great opportunities to lay into Jormuntide with bullets. You’ll also want no less than Hyper Spheres if you’re going for a capture – Ultra Spheres are preferable though.
