Thankfully, It couldn’t be easier to inspect your currently equipped weapon in MW2. In fact, it’s a single-button process, with the only variation depending on whether you’re playing on console or PC.
- When playing with Mouse and Keyboard on PC, hold the ‘I’ key to inspect weapon.
- Using a controller, hold left on the d-pad and you will inspect your current weapon.
With such a simple process, it’s incredibly easy to do whenever you want to get a closer look at your currently equipped gear. Be careful not to overdo it in a multiplayer lobby, however. The last thing you want is to be gunned down in deathmatch while preening over a freshly-equipped weapon skin.
